Terra

Terra, primarily means ‘Earth’ in Latin. Most people would automatically associate the word Terra with its extended use: Terra Firma, to mean ‘solid ground’. This series of images does not deal exclusively with solid ground but portrays many of the elements that make up our planet as a whole. Terra aims to represent the constituent parts of the great outdoors, of our planet on a macro level. Features such as the sky are often over-emphasized as light gives significance to what we see, and weather gives life to Earth.
